Permastore I-II

A closed paper container filled with white light, and a closed steel container which makes erratic movements. This is about the storage of memories. How reliable are memories? What is the truth? The steel container seems stable and reliable but isn’t. The paper one is fragile but stable. Is something that slowly unfolds before our eyes harder to forget? Or has a quick flash a greater impact on our memory?

The paper container is a memory of the steel container, and vice-versa. Inspired by the book The Art of Memory by Frances A. Yates.
